The Town of Westwood is disclosing values that are pending final certification from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Division of Local Services. This is part of the Town’s revaluation program and discloses proposed assessments for all classes of property for fiscal year 2019. The fiscal year 2019 proposed assessments are as of January 1, 2018, utilizing 2017 sales. The revaluation program is necessary to achieve full and fair cash value in accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 40, Section 56 and Chapter 58, sections 1, 1A and 3.

The Board of Selectmen voted unanimously at the November 28, 2016 meeting, to open the 2017 Annual Town Meeting warrant scheduled for Monday, May 2, 2017. The Board plans to close the Warrant at its meeting on Monday, January 9, 2017.
